Counseling is provided by certified, professional staff, highly trained to
deliver individual and group therapy to chemically dependent patients.
Counseling sessions are designed to foster independent living skills devoid of
chemical dependency and re-focus the individual's attention on self, children
and family.
Individual Counseling
Patients meet with their primary counselor on a regular basis to discuss their
individualized treatment plan as well as short and long term goals.
Group Counseling
Patients are encouraged to participate in group counseling as part of their
treatment plan. NASC conducts several groups. Some groups are topic
specific while others provide support for a group based on gender, ethnicity or
stage in treatment. While most groups have an open enrollment, there ae
some that have a set curriculum with a specific start date. NASC

HIV Counseling and Education
New Age Services Corporation maintains an HIV early intervention program
staffed by HIV Certified counselors that provide HIV/AIDS education, pre-test
counseling, testing and follow-up post counseling. These services are
provided on a strictly confidential basis.
Domestic Violence
Domestic Violence and substance use often occur together in a
person’s life. NASC addresses these co-occurring issues by providing intensive
support to individuals early in their treatment cycle ensuring that both issues
are appropriately considered during treatment planning and delivery. NASC
offers support groups through this program to survivors of domestic violence
encouraging clients to learn from each other and develop supportive
relationships.
DUI Evaluation and Education
NASC provides DUI Evaluation and Education services using curriculum approved by
the Illinois Secretary of State and Illinois court systems. DUI service
are provided Monday through Saturday.
Parenting Classes
NASC conducts parent education classes for our patients and the community.
NASC uses the ACT Parents Raising Safe Kids program curriculum for
classes. This program is a national research-based initiative designed to
educate communities and families to create safe, healthy environments that
protect children and youth from violence.
